PwC Among Top 10 Firms for Working Mothers
The judges consider the following categories when ranking the firms:
- Percentage of women in the workforce
- Child care support
- Leave for new parents
- Work/life balance
- Advancement of Women
Companies that apply to be included on the "100 Best" list are judged based on the types of benefits offered, how widely available those benefits are, and the usage rates. In particular, judges this year concentrated on companies that provide flex time working schedules, advancement for women, and equitable distribution of benefits.
Companies that apply for inclusion on the list but do not make the cut get feedback indicating how they might improve their working conditions for working mothers.
