In-Flight E-mail – Almost Ready for Take-off
In-flight packages proposed by at least ten companies are currently being considered. One company, Inflightonline , has announced it has developed content partners that can help a passenger make various reservations ranging from dinner to limousine service all on-line from the sky.
One of the final obstacles to overcome is the financial feasibility of in-flight e-mail. Not only do airlines not want to throw a lot of money at a project that won’t fly, they also want to insure that it is something that makes financial sense for passengers as well as the airline companies.
