Lunch Buffett
The date, time and place of the lunch will be determined after the winner is announced but choices have been limited to eateries in Omaha, Nebraska or New York City. Proceeds will go to the Glide Foundation, a comprehensive service provider working with San Francisco’s poor and homeless and are tax deductible as a charitable contribution.
Mr. Buffett has donated lunches to benefit the Glide, which his late wife, Susan introduced him to, since 2000, according to Reuters. Prior to going online at eBay, auctions were held in San Francisco, Reuters reports.
Lunch with Mr. Buffett is being auctioned off on eBay. [1] To date, 89 bids have been placed, starting at $25,000. Bidders must pre-qualify before placing bids and payment must be remitted to Glide Foundation by cashier’s check or wire transfer within three business days.
