Selecting the Right Chair for Your Office

Posted by accountingweb on Jan 4 2000 108 printer friendly
All of us spend a tremendous amount of our day sitting, and having an ergonomically correct chair is paramount to good posture, your back and attitude. Some even say the chair is more important than your computer or other office equipment purchases.

Those in home offices--or offices at a business location--should know that a good chair isn't cheap. Be prepared to spend as much as $1,000 and higher depending on the chair's finish and style.

One good piece of advice is to shop for your chair with a resource that allows you to "test drive" the chair for a few days; try it out and see if you like it.

Experts suggest that a store is better than a catalog to buy a chair because you will avoid any return shipping charges should you decide to send the chair back.
