Ken Harvey joins KPMG international corporate services as a partner
In his new position at KPMG, Harvey will play an important role in strengthening ties between the firm’s U.S. professionals and colleagues with KPMG International's member firms throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
"There have been growing opportunities to provide multinational corporations and other inbound U.S. investors throughout the Asia-Pacific region with tax services," said Kevin Glenn, KPMG's international corporate services national partner in charge. "We are pleased to have Kenneth on board to help strengthen our abilities to serve these clients."
Harvey brings with him to KPMG over 18 years of international tax experience and a deep understanding of the Asia-Pacific region. He has extensive experience with tax matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, IRS tax controversy, as well as tax compliance engagements and regulation.
Prior to joining KPMG, Harvey headed the U.S. tax desk in Oceania for several years at another Big Four public accounting firm. Based in Sydney, Australia, at that time, he led U.S. teams on multinational restructuring, intellectual property, and financing transaction engagements.
