mySAP Tapped to Overhaul IRS Internal Financial Systems
The IRS established the Integrated Financial Systems initiative to improve budgeting processes, managerial accounting processes and revenue accounting for the Service. By Congressional mandate, all government agencies are required to purchase financial management software to help eliminate duplicate reporting and improve the consistency of data reported across government.
The cornerstone of the initiative will utilize mySAP Financials, giving IRS employees better access to internal financial data and operational information to help improve decision-making.
