Cokie Roberts to Keynote at IMA Conference in June

The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), one of the world’s largest associations for financial professionals in the corporate workplace, will converge in New Orleans from June 17-20 for its 82nd Annual Conference and Exposition. “Native” daughter, Cokie Roberts, is scheduled as a keynote speaker to provide an insider’s look at the national political scene. In addition to the opportunity to earn up to 35 Continuing Professional Education credits, conference attendees will have a host of activities to help sharpen their professional development including presentations on “The Broadband Revolution” and “XBRL” the new extensible financial language that is making it possible for accounting and financial professionals to exchange financial information easily over the Internet.
