Top Performing Companies Use IT To Their Advantage
A study conducted by the research arm of AnswerThink [1], a leading consulting group, reveals a direct correlation between first-quartile companies with a lower per end-user costs and those who view information technology as a strategic business tool. Using technology to streamline processes and systems is good for business.
The study also shows that a typical company averages $9,167 annually per end-user. This includes systems investments and Y2K compliance. The future benchmark for a “world-class IT organization” will keep total end-user costs down to $4,300 or less.
