Mark Your Calendar: Location-Based Tax Incentives
“Last year’s hurricanes prompted a new range of incentives for businesses in the Gulf Coast region, but there are literally thousands of incentives available for businesses nationwide at the federal, state, and local levels,” said Richard Jarvis, CCH managing editor. “In this seminar, professional will learn how to find these savings for their own firms and their clients, rather than leaving it on the table.”
Blake Christian of Holthouse Carlin & Van Trigt LLP, will join Professor Charles Swenson of the University of Southern California, in discussing tax incentive opportunities including:
- State Enterprise Zones
- The Gulf Opportunity Zone Act
- Sales and Use Tax Credits
- State and Federal Hiring Credits
In addition, walkthroughs will demonstrate how incentives work in three sample states and a live question-and-answer session will give participants an opportunity to delve deeper into their own concerns.
