HORNE LLP earns two nationwide marketing awards
HORNE's College Recruiting ad "Be Different" won for best single print ad in the over $15 million revenue accounting firm size category. The ad, representing a campaign geared toward college students considering job opportunities in the field of accounting, features brightly-colored socks in a sea of black and grey and is designed both to capture the viewer's attention and act as a visual metaphor for standing out in the workplace. This ad was also the first college recruiting ad to feature the new look of HORNE's updated brand, featuring HORNE's bright, new color palette, updated typography, and freshened logo and layout.
HORNE's Franchise Client Calendar won for best single mailing/direct mail piece in the over $15 million revenue firm size category. The calendar, which includes important franchise accounting dates to remember, also reflects HORNE's new brand identity. The piece serves as an information resource, containing contact information for the firm's franchise office locations and a complete record retention guide.
"The recognition of HORNE's creative and innovative marketing materials by professionals within the accounting industry speaks to the firm's vision and focus of 'creating value and making a difference'," said Hugh Parker, Ph.D., CPA/ABV, HORNE LLP executive partner.
The Association for Accounting Marketing distributed 40 Marketing Achievement Awards (AAM-MAAs) to 30 different firms to recognize their outstanding achievements in the areas of accounting marketing and communications. A panel of judges, including professionals in advertising, consulting, professional services and marketing, judged nearly 250 entries in 19 different categories. Accounting firms from all over the United States and Canada competed in two divisions – under $15 million in revenue and over $15 million in revenue. Categories included web site design, collateral/identity materials, niche business development and print advertising for CPA firms.
