Mark Your Calendar: XBRL GL In-Depth Training Begins July 13
This training session, taught by the authors and contributors of the XBRL GL technical framework and taxonomies, offers hands on experience working with the XBRL Global Ledger taxonomy and instance documents. Intensive XBRL GL technical training, including technical instructions on the XBRL Specification, in-depth review of the meaning behind the Global Ledger, experience with the development of XBRL instances, and guidance on development, incorporating XBRL GL into existing and developing new systems, will be provided.
Instructors from Taligent Research personnel join other contributors, world-renowned for leading and educating other XBRL GL including:
- Jeff Fedor, Chair of the XBRL GL Working Group and noted XBRL GL developer, and
- Gianluca Garbellotto, internationally known speaker on XBRL GL software and its use in Government and private sector, and member of the XBRL GL WG and the XBRL Standards Board.

XBRL provides major benefits in the preparation, analysis and communication of business information. It is already bringing new efficiencies to banking regulators worldwide. XBRL GL, is an important branch of the XBRL standard.
XBRL GL, the Global Ledger, is a standard for representing and communicating the information found in operational and accounting systems for data consolidation, data migration and archival purposes, bringing new efficiencies for integrating disparate systems and enabling new controls environments.
