Orrtax Takes Over TaxSaver from Microsoft

AccountingWeb reported a story [1] late last week that Microsoft had ceased offering its TaxSaver software and signed a deal with H&R Block.

Now, according to published reports, Orrtax [2] will pick up the ball for Microsoft. Orrtax has acquired the license to TaxSaver and plans to integrate it into IntelliTax, its own tax preparation product.

Orrtax also plans to offer the staff who developed TaxSaver jobs within its own organization.
