CCH Small Firm Services (SFS) has launched its Marketing Resource Center, a tool designed for tax and accounting professionals who are looking for ways to grow their business. The Marketing Resource Center provides a variety of tools to help professionals increase their marketing knowledge and better position their firms for success.
"In an increasingly competitive market, tax professionals need to think outside the box in order to both attract new clients and retain existing ones," noted Jeff Gramlich, president of CCH Small Firm Services. "The Marketing Resource Center was developed to help them create an easily executable marketing plan."
The Marketing Resource Center offers tools focused on training, development, and execution:
Webinar: A free two-part presentation by Bonnie Buol Ruszczyk, owner of BBR Marketing and recognized expert on marketing strategy for professional businesses, focuses on developing a marketing plan customized to the unique needs of the tax and accounting industry. Live webinars will be held in August and September and will qualify for four hours of CPE credit. A taped version of the webinar will be available for self-study later this fall.
Workbook: "Building a Marketing Plan That Works" expands on the webinar training. Over a dozen reusable templates guide the tax professional through the development of a custom marketing plan, including the creation of a value proposition and development of objectives, strategies, and tactics relevant to the unique needs of each business.
Marketing Materials: A broad array of materials is available to support the execution of the marketing plan. Some materials will be available for customization, including postcards which can be used in direct mail campaigns targeting current or potential customers.
