As a result of the merger, Gainer Donnelly's Houston office will now operate under the CRI name.
The newly merged location will retain its current staff of 140 professionals and will now provide services to more than 60,000 clients.

During that time, we've built a solid reputation as trusted business advisors while cultivating long-term client relationships", George Hawkins, managing partner for Gainer Donnelly who will now oversee local operations as partner-in-charge of the Houston office for CRI, said in a written statement. "We will continue those traditions while now offering expanded services to our clients and the Houston market as well as additional career opportunities to our staff."

CRI now has forty-one locations throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
