Bernhard von Thaden has rejoined KPMG LLP, a US audit, tax, and advisory firm, as a principal in the Economic and Valuation Services (EVS) practice. Ken Harvey returns as a partner in the International Corporate Services practice. Both will be based in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Von Thaden will lead EVS's West Coast Transfer Pricing group, and Harvey will help the firm meet growing demand for a range of international tax services from both inbound and outbound multinationals.
With twenty years of transfer pricing and valuation experience, von Thaden has advised Fortune 500 clients in such industries as life sciences, technology, energy, and logistics on transfer pricing-related issues. Von Thaden holds a Master of Business Administration degree from SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy, and a Master of Economic Geography degree from the University of Munich in Germany.
Harvey spent three years with KPMG China, where he helped the US Tax practice for the Asia Pacific (ASPAC) region. While in Asia, Harvey provided US corporate tax advice and coordinated projects for China-based outbound investors and US-based multinationals with operation in the ASPAC region. He is a Certified Public Account and holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of California, Davis.
Scott Worsdell has joined KPMG as a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax practice. Based in KPMG's San Francisco office, he will assist clients with M&A-related taxation and accounting issues.
Worsdell has more than sixteen years of experience and joins KPMG from Deloitte, where he served as a tax partner in the M&A Transaction Services practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and a Master of Business Taxation degree with concentrations in corporate taxation and finance from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.
Joseph A. Pizzimenti, Esq., has joined accounting and business consulting firm Margolin, Winer & Evens. Pizzimenti has more than thirty years of experience in providing complex consulting services to domestic and multinational corporate and individual clients.

Joseph is admitted to the New York Bar, and is a member of both the New York Bar Association and American Bar Association. He earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Pace University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.
