Surveys can be good things. But surveys also can be scary things.
Compliance and security remain two of the hottest topics in our industry.
A recent survey reported in “Compliance costing one day a week?” revealed
that the exercise of meeting compliance regulations is adding an alarming
20 percent – or one working day – each work week. On top of that, another
survey, “Telework security a challenge for federal agencies” reveals that
more than half of our own government’s employees work from home without
permission. Perhaps a quick review of your firm’s compliance program and
a refresher on – or the need to create – a company policy for teleworking
from home will make these surveys hit home in your personal business world.
