The Internal Revenue Service is advising taxpayers that in most cases they will not have to do anything extra this year to receive the tax rebate payments beginning in May. The rebates are part of the economic stimulus bill that was signed into law last week.

Creating a stress free busy season
You can thrive, not just survive, during this busy season. You just need to do five things. These tips will help you reduce stress, relax, and breeze through the busy season feeling rested, grounded, and in control.

Marketing during busy season? It's easier than you think!
It happens every year. Firms get so bogged down during the busy season (and who doesn't?) that business development and marketing get pushed aside. Workplace wellness tips for this coming busy season
Today's workplace isn't like your grandparents' -- we're connected to work as never before by cell phones, pagers, PDAs, and laptops. So it is essential to learn techniques to keep us focused on our work, to keep us productive and to create enjoyment in each workday. Here are some tips to handle your workplace stress.

Leveraging busy season discussions to nurture relationships
This time of year, accountants spend many hours a day talking to clients, prospects, and referral sources. Did you know that busy season discussions can be leveraged to enhance your effectiveness as an advisor and nurture existing relationships? By incorporating a few open-ended questions into busy season conversations, you can elevate the value of the dialog.
