FROM FINANCIAL ICON TO CARTOON CHARACTER

Warren Buffet is getting animated. Really animated. A cartoon version of the "Oracle of Omaha" is all set to star in "The Secret Millionaire's Club" a DVD series aimed at dispensing advice to kids between the ages of 5 and 12.

Don't go running out to buy it just yet, however. The first two, of a total of 13 titles, are scheduled to be released in autumn 2006, according to Reuters. The plot, which USAToday reports centers around Buffet helping four children decide which companies to invest in, has a variety of villains including corrupt accountants, politicians and hostile corporate raiders.

Buffet's investment advice is highly sought after by adults across the country and around the world. And there are probably worse things than having children, yours or anyone else's, learning about investing and financial matters from the second wealthiest man on Forbes' annual list. Still, he could have picked better villains.
