THE "BEST OF THE BEST" RESPOND

INSIDE Public Accounting recently released their list of "Top Accounting Firms for 2006". Since the unveiling, several firms who made the list have made public statements regarding their status as "the Best of the Best". Here is what a few had to say:

"We are extremely proud to have been recognized by Inside Public Accounting as one of America's Top 25 Accounting Firms. This is quite an honor to be included in this group of leading U.S. firms," said Greg Colson, Managing Partner of Moore Colson in Atlanta, Georgia. "Each day we strive to be the very best we can for both our clients and employees. We hope to continue this effort year-in and year-out."

One firm that has continued to be among the very best is WithumSmith+Brown (WS+B), Certified Accountants and Consultants. In a prepared statement, WS+B noted that 2006 marks the ninth consecutive year the firm has made the IPA list, "... a distinction earned by a small percentage of the several hundred firms reviewed."

Lisa Cines, CPA, Managing Officer of Aronson & Company in Rockville, Maryland, whose firm has been named to the list for the fourth consecutive year, agrees, saying "We feel great pride that IPA has chosen to select us once again as one of the best firms in the country, The entire staff at Aronson & Company is firmly committed to client satisfaction and professional success through excellence, integrity and vision. We appreciate the industry's recognition of our efforts."
