TRAVEL TIP: ALWAYS PACK A TIE

It's always a good idea to pack a tie, even when the conference literature says attire is "business casual". Just ask Forbes Baker, who discovered he was receiving the Financial Executives International Distinguished Service Award when he saw his name in the program. His first thought?

For three days this week some of the nation's top finance executives have gathered in San Francisco, California, for the FEI Summit 2006. On Monday, part of the program included Tributes and Awards.
