A HARD LESSON LEARNED
Andrew Miller, managing partner of the now-defunct accounting firm of Miller, Lilly & Pearce, was indicted in September on 26 felony charges. He pled guilty to a single count of first-degree public record tampering before Nassau Judge Alan Honorof, November 14, 2005. He admitted to altering district financial records and was sentenced to 6 months in prison for his part in the cover-up of an $11.2 million embezzlement scheme.
