RAN ONE, National Business Incubation Association partner to support entrepreneurial businesses
At a time when entrepreneurs are seeking more help than ever in launching successful business concepts, RAN ONE and the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA) have announced a partnership designed to benefit startup businesses.
RAN ONE's online business services providing diagnostic tools for small and medium-sized businesses and NBIA, a leading organization supporting business incubation and entrepreneurship, are joining together to provide support for NBIA member entrepreneurial firms.
Under the agreement, RAN ONE will become part of NBIA's Member Tools service, providing members of the association with a discount on software, resources, and educational programs. Member Tools is a new NBIA program that provides members with time- and money-saving products. Through NBIA's Partner Program, companies and organizations develop alliances with the association to provide products and services that are beneficial to NBIA members (and, if applicable, to their clients and graduates).
"We appreciate RAN ONE's help in spreading the word about the business incubation industry," said David Monkman, NBIA president and CEO. "Our partners have recognized the key role that entrepreneurial companies play in American business and the nation's competitiveness."
Business incubation programs facilitate the process of starting and growing companies by providing entrepreneurs with the expertise, networks, and tools they need to make their ventures successful. NBIA estimates that in 2005 alone, North American incubators assisted more than 27,000 start-up companies that provided full-time employment for more than 100,000 workers and generated annual revenue of more than $17 billion. Approximately 7,000 business incubators operate worldwide.
RAN ONE's Advisapedia is a Web-based platform that automates and simplifies the business advisory process. It enables business incubation managers to provide an in-depth analysis of any company. Elements available to NBIA members include software and diagnostic programs to assess all internal and external components of a business, more than100 consulting guides, access to more than 80 client education programs and more. Advisapedia diagnostics are customizable to fit any business model and can be offered as a value-added or fee-based service.
"We're extremely excited about our partnership with NBIA, as it puts these powerful online diagnostic, educational and networking tools in the hands of business incubators around the globe, enabling them to play a more significant role in their clients' success," said Rick Solomon, CEO of RAN ONE Americas.
