RAN ONE Americas Annual Conference offers knowledge, resources
Accounting and advisory firms don't need to wait to grow, according to Rick Solomon, CPA, CEO of RAN ONE Americas. Even firms with one or two staff members can learn to be the top advisors in their geographic areas with the right knowledge and resources. These tools are exactly what RAN ONE is offering to accounting and business advisory firms at the RAN ONE Annual Conference, October 27-28 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando.
Themed "Opening Doors, Walking Through," the conference is designed to increase the competitiveness of accounting and advisory firms that work with small to mid-sized businesses. These firms are on the frontlines of economic recovery, ideally situated to provide the guidance that more and more business owners are seeking. The event aims to provide not only the best resources for supporting clients and growing their firms, but also strategies to put resources into action for maximum benefit and growth, even during a rocky economy.
Conference presenters will focus on offering the best techniques, trends, and ideas for boosting firm performance and growth. Industry leaders will speak on topics of greatest relevance to accountants and advisors, including identifying and creating new opportunities; improving client retention and satisfaction; enhancing advisory results and revenue; maximizing public relations and digital media; achieving work/life balance; and marketing and networking for optimum growth.
Panelist and roundtable sessions, additional special events, and networking opportunities are tailored to allow deeper exploration of issues, enhancing the value of the event for everyone.
The RAN ONE 2010 Annual Conference is open to the international accounting and advisory community. "We've received interest from participants from the UK, Europe, and South Pacific through our international partner, RAN ONE Global," said Solomon.
The conference is part of RAN ONE's Orange Power Week, a series of events that includes the pre-conference Firm Retreat, October 25-26; the 2010 Annual Conference, October 27-28; and Advanced Skill Builder add-on workshops, October 29. Registration, agenda, discounts, and other details are available at www.ranoneannualconference.com or by calling (800) 806-8050.

Voice of the Editor
Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
