National Society of Accountants adds KineticD solution to member benefits program
KineticD, formerly Data Deposit Box, a Toronto-based online storage, recovery, and access service designed especially for small and mid-sized businesses, recently announced a special offer program for members of the National Society of Accountants (NSA).
NSA members, mostly sole practitioners or partners in small to medium-sized accounting firms, can now use the cloud-based services at a discounted price as part of their member-only benefits with the association.
"Professional accountants need to safeguard their data assets," said John G. Ams, NSA executive vice president. "NSA is proud to offer its members this proven solution from a leading provider in online services for continuous backup, disaster recovery, and secure remote access."
KineticD provides secure, affordable cloud-based services to backup, restore, access, and share digital assets - making it easy to recover and access data whenever and wherever it is needed, according to the company. Its KineticSecure storage service enables users to easily backup, access, share, and recover online digital assets. Unlike other online backup services, its patented Continuous Backup technology immediately detects, encrypts, and automatically saves incremental changes.
KineticExtend enables users to securely access applications, files, and devices on their PC from another PC anytime and anywhere there is an Internet connection.
"For more than 60 years, NSA has supported independent practitioners with leading information, resources, and representation," said Jamie Brenzel, CEO of KineticD. "NSA members are key advisors to their clients and we believe this partnership will significantly extend the use of KineticSecure and KineticExtend as preferred solutions for safeguarding digital assets wherever business takes them."
NSA members can sign up for a free trial and a 20 percent discount on the monthly fee of $2 per GB of storage space by visiting the Members Only section at www.nsacct.org.
NSA and its affiliates represent 30,000 members who provide accounting, auditing, tax preparation, financial and estate planning, and management services to approximately 19 million individuals and business clients. Most members are sole practitioners or partners in small- to medium- size accounting firms. NSA protects the public by requiring its members to adhere to a strict code of ethics.
KineticD sets a new standard by providing small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) with the same level of service and protection for irreplaceable digital assets that large enterprises enjoy. It delivers comprehensive solutions that enable SMBs to continuously backup, restore, access, and share information online from any location. Its agile, cloud-based services are specifically designed for SMBs that want to activate their digital assets and more efficiently share and collaborate through improved access to information. Founded in 2002, the company's industry-acclaimed Data Deposit Box product delivers advanced, patented technology that is used daily by more than 40,000 customers and is supported around the world through an extensive partner network. KineticD delivers powerful online solutions that are simple to use, affordable, secure, and accessible no matter where your business takes you.
Voice of the Editor
Which isn’t completely true. I mean, occasionally I drop by when I manage to sneak out of the nonstop frat party over at Going Concern, but I’m mostly a wallflower over there. I’m happy to say that I’ve been given express permission (or explicit orders, if you like) to wander over here to AccountingWEB more often.
Why is that, you might ask? My job is to replace the irreplaceable Gail Perry as Editor-in-Chief. What does that mean? I don’t really know! I think it’ll be fun getting a feel for things, throwing in my own thoughts here and there, and listening to the discussions you’re having about the accounting profession.
