Tax season has a way of highlighting small business owners' financial management lapses. According to a recent survey, the two most frequently cited are (1) failing to keep financial records up to date and (2) not preparing a budget for the year ahead.

Xero Hires Google's Stuart McLean to Lead Global Marketing Efforts

The young online accounting software company Xero announced a recent coup – hiring Stuart McLean away from Google Australia, where he was Cloud business applications development leader. McLean will lead Xero's worldwide sales and marketing team.
