Crowe Horwath LLP marks 20 years in Columbus

Public accounting and consulting firm Crowe Horwath LLP (formerly Crowe Chizek and Company LLC) is celebrating 20 years in Columbus. Crowe is one of the top 10 accounting firms in the U.S. Crowe's Columbus office opened in 1988 as the firm's first location in Ohio. Today, more than 150 Columbus Crowe personnel provide assurance and financial advisory, tax, risk management and performance services to public and private company clients across many industries including manufacturing and distribution, banking, retail, private equity, construction, and non-profit.

NACVA CEO named to 'Most Influential' list

Accounting Today, the business magazine for the tax and accounting community, has recognized Parnell Black, CEO of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, as one of the "Top 100 Most Influential People." This is the ninth consecutive year Accounting Today has recognized Black in its survey. Black co-founded NACVA in 1991 and has grown the association to over 6,500 members in 17 years.
