Ethics Discussion Forum Goes Live on New Web Site

A new Web site is available for those interested in learning more about the corporate scandals and participating in a discussion of possible solutions.

Art Berkowitz, columnist for The Wall Street Journal and author of the recently released book, ENRON: A Professional's Guide to the Events, Ethical Issues, and Proposed Reforms has established a Web site to promote a discussion of the ethical issues involved in the scandals.

The site was designed to coordinate with the online version of his book that will be released in November. With the assistance of his publisher, CCH Incorporated, Mr. Berkowitz will host a discussion of the issues underlying the scandals.

Several universities have already adopted the book for their business ethics and auditing classes. The Web site will assist instructors in broadening the discussions in their classes and permit interested individuals to participate in a wide-ranging debate of the issues.

Mr. Berkowitz anticipates that ideas hashed out in the discussion forum will serve as the basis for future columns and eventually help lead to proposals for legislation and effective reform.
