Can The Entire Web Be Captured in One Search Engine?

A Norwegian company is aiming to win the Internet search engine war, claiming they will have the entire web indexed and searchable within a year.

With over 800 million pages available currently, the Internet until now has seemed to be un untamed tiger, with search engines such as Alta Vista, Lycos and Yahoo grabbing big pieces, but never attempting to capture the whole animal.

Fast Search (Fast Search and Transfer) claims to have over 200 million pages currently indexed.
