Trouble Being Recognized as a Registered Member?

Occasionally, people who register on the AccountingWEB site encounter problems with being recognized as a registered member. If the word "Visitor" appears at the top left of the screen, that means that you are not recognized as a registered member and that you do not have full access to the site.

What you need to do:

  1. Make sure that you used the correct username and password to log on to the site. If you do not know your username or password, we can remind you now.

  2. If you used the correct username and password and are still not being recognized, one of two things should be investigated:

    • Check to make sure that your "Cookies" are enabled. To do this, if you are using Internet Explorer, go to the tool bar and click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level and scroll down to ensure that "Enable" is checked at the section called "Allow Cookies that are installed on your computer."

    • Check with your system administrator to determine if there is a firewall at your office which would prohibit you from accessing cookie-based sites.

If you are still having trouble with logging in to our site, please contact us at 1-317-876-7525 and we'll try to help determine what's wrong.
