Client's son wrecked business truck - another vehicle involved.

I have a client that owns a landscaping business. The son works for them. During off hours, he took one of the trucks and was involved in an accident with another vehicle. Not the first accident in recent months. Currently has no license due to a DWI. Client is seeking advice from an attorney due to the numerous accidents their son has been involved in and other various situations with him. He has already stated that he had permission to take the truck and the officer responding believes this to be true as the son still lives with parents/clients.
Any input on the ramifications to the business (LLP)? The son is not able to drive on business insurance policy - restricted!
Any valid input would be helpful.'
Thanks
Leslie

Wrecked business vehicle

I would advise your client to continue working with the attorney, and if that one is not helping (not that s/he isn't) find one who can. That person can best describe any ramifications to the LLP, especially when the driver was uninsured and using a vehicle belonging to the business. The client could also consult an HR specialist, who might give some direction. I don't think I could give any more advice than that.
