Ernst & Young LLP announces annual BAP diversity competition

Up to 10 Beta Alpha Psi chapters can win $1,000 each if they can show they have improved diversity within their chapter, the school, or community.

Ernst & Young LLP believes a diverse, inclusive work environment is an important component for successful businesses, as evidenced by the fact that more than 90 percent of Fortune 500 companies have launched diversity initiatives.

Recognizing the importance of hearing from a diverse range of perspectives in the workplace, the firm plans to review BAP chapter submissions and award cash prizes to chapters that have increased diversity.

Two abstracts must be submitted. The first was due in December; the second is due June 1 and must include a summary of the successful implementation of the strategy, and the results. Abstracts must be sent to Dassie Baum at the executive office at hbaum@bap.org.

Questions? Contact Barbara Nee, E&Y advisory forum representative, at Barbara.nee@ey.com or Ken Bouyer, BAP board member, at Kenneth.bouyer@ey.com.
