Holyoke, Massachusetts-based Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK) has announced that it has successfully completed and received the top rating following a rigorous peer review of its accounting and auditing practice. The reviewers concluded that MBK complies with the stringent quality control standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national professional organization of CPAs.

Meyers Brothers Kalicka participates in the AICPA Peer Review Program. A firm participating in this program must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years. The review was conducted by the firm of Heinold-Banwart, Ltd. of East Peoria, Illinois following standards issued by the AICPA. The objective of the peer review is to determine whether a CPA firm has suitable quality control policies and procedures and is complying with them. MBK’s unmodified report indicates that it measures up to the accounting profession's highest standards of quality and professionalism.
