In the clutch, Cincinnati CPA firm expands support of UC athletics

Jackson, Rolfes, Spurgeon & Co., (JCS) a Cincinnati firm with 50 employees, is expanding its marketing support of the University of Cincinnati Athletics with an interactive clutch performance contest honoring the Bearcat who performs best under pressure.

"We've been a longtime supporter of UC Athletics and with this contest, we are taking that support to the next level," said Laura B. Turner, the firm's marketing director.

The contest is being held in conjunction with radio advertisements on WLW AM 700. The radio spots feature iconic Cincinnati business leaders describing how JRS has been a "clutch performer" as they meet the challenges of growing businesses. Listeners are then invited to enter the Clutch Performance Athlete Contest at www.jrscpa.com.

On the Web site, you are directed where to enter the player you think deserves to win and why. The page has an optional video clip of JRS founder Jim Rolfes and a message from the firm: "As you probably know, we are a long time, proud supporter of the University of Cincinnati and its athletic programs because it ties in with our philosophy of hard work, commitment and dedication. We believe in supporting collegiate athletics as part of our recruiting efforts."

Various prizes are offered for entering.
