Kansas accountant receives promotion

The Garden City, Kansas CPA firm of Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC has announced the promotion of Mary Floto, CPA to manager.

"Mary has stepped up as a leader since joining Lewis, Hooper & Dick," says Gary Schlappe, CPA, Managing Member/Owner of Lewis, Hooper & Dick, LLC. "Her promotion to manager will allow her to extend her leadership skills in addition to providing our clients with exceptional service."

Floto joined the firm in 2000. In her role as manager, she provides comprehensive accounting and auditing services to the firm's clients. Floto also assists with internal controls services. She primarily serves governmental clients.

Floto graduated with honors from South Dakota State University in 1985, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in commercial economics. In addition, she completed advanced accounting courses at Black Hills State University. Floto is involved in several professional and community organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant (AICPA), Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), Garden City Noon Kiwanis, First Methodist Church and Great Plains Horticulture Club. She is also a 2004 graduate of Leadership Garden City. Floto currently resides in Garden City, Kansas with her husband, Doug.
