Attack and Win Business

Rob Nance,
Publisher

By Rob Nance, Publisher - Talking with a man in the construction industry yesterday, he commented to me that after the holidays he had to layoff some workers. He also said that if work doesn’t pick up soon, he might just take the rest of the winter off and gear up for spring. I really wanted to say to him, "Don’t throw in the towel! Get out there and fight for business! It’s there, you just have to find it!"

Neil Young wrote in his song "Old Ways":

the economy was gettin’ so bad, I had to lay myself off
but workin’ was a habit I had, so I kept showin’ up anyway

If ever there was a moment in modern times for people to think positively, be aggressive and attack their businesses like a lion, it’s now. Message to entrepreneurs: make Neil proud.
