The easiest way is to make a journal entry debiting the receiving account and crediting the account from which the money comes out. Another way is to either write a check from one account to the other with the receiving account as the account in the expense account field - make sure you are using the correct "cash" account as the one from which you are writing the "check." You could also enter a transaction directly in the register for either account.Laura C., CPA, Boise
