SEC XBRL Financial Explorer Released; PCAOB SAG Meeting Feb. 27; FASB Guidance Issued

By Edith Orenstein, FEI Financial Reporting Blog - Earlier today (Feb. 15), the SEC announced the release of an interactive tool called the “Financial Explorer,” which the SEC says will, “help investors quickly and easily analyze the financial results of public companies.” Yesterday, the PCAOB announced the next meeting of its Standing Advisory Group (SAG) will take place on February 27.
