NSA offers "best practices" webinars

Several areas of “best practices” for operating tax and accounting firms will be covered by an upcoming series of six webinars offered by the National Society of Accountants (NSA) entitled, “Money Makers and Money Savers for Accounting and Tax Professionals.”

Topics and dates include:

* 11 Characteristics of Highly Successful Practices – May 31, 2007
* What Services Do My Clients Need? – June 28, 2007
* When and How to Fire a Client – July 26, 2007
* Marketing Your Practice on a Budget – August 16, 2007
* Effective Billing Techniques – August 30, 2007
* Managing All of Those Regulations – September 27, 2007

“In this age of electronic communication, we are hearing from members that they want web-based education options in addition to the live programs we offer,” explains NSA President Bob Fukuhara. “This new series is both convenient and affordable, and gives accountants critical information they need to operate and grow their businesses.”

The series is offered under the new NSA “ConnectED” brand of Web-based education.

Each webinar begins at 2:30 p.m. EDT on the days indicated, except the “Marketing Your Practice on a Budget” webinar, which begins at 11:00 a.m. EDT. Webinars run for one hour and participants can earn one hour of CPE credit. Each webinar is interactive, allowing participants to ask questions by phone or e-mail.

The series is presented by (oneplusone)3, an alliance of accounting and tax professionals learning to better manage their practices, earn more money and keep more of every dollar they earn.

The cost for each webinar is $35 for NSA members and $75 for nonmembers. Members who register for two webinars will also receive the third one free.
