Vermont Firms Announce Acquisition

Craig E. Isvak, CPA, PLC, a provider of accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals in the Mad River Valley and the Waterbury/Stowe area, has acquired Associates in Accounting, P.C. in Essex Junction. Under the previous owner, Michael LeBoeuf, Associates in Accounting has been doing business in Essex Junction since 1989. The staff will remain through the acquisition.

The new firm, Associates in Accounting, PLC, will be led by Isvak and will offer tax and accounting services to businesses and individuals. LeBoeuf will remain involved and will focus on financial planning as a registered representative of HD Vest.

Isvak has more than 15 years of experience; he was a controller for a large manufacturer/retailer in Vermont, as well as CEO and controller for a title and escrow services firm in Chittenden County.

Isvak and his family live in South Duxbury. He is a member of the Duxbury selectboard and the American Institute of CPAs. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Vermont, with a concentration in professional accounting.
