In addition to an impressive group of presenters, the 2007 Forum will create multiple opportunities for meeting and networking with colleagues and industry experts who are also facing challenges on these important issues, as well as top organizations who will provide attendees with proven tactics that have been successful in their workers' comp programs.
"The Illinois Workers' Comp Forum puts the entire Illinois workers' comp system under a microscope and shows organizations the strategies to protect their bottom line." states Michael Fitton, Director of Marketing for the Council. "It also offers the chance to interact with leading workers' comp suppliers who will showcase innovative solutions and provide practical advice on controlling workers' comp costs."
Strategies will be taught on how to put practices into place to successfully get employees back on the job as fast as possible and keep them moving toward full productivity. Also, discover how the University of Chicago Hospital dramatically reduced the number of employees out on workers' comp from an average of 50-75 to 10 and how organizations have saved more than $1 million a year on costs attributable to back injury. Workers' comp statutes which established criminal penalties for all types of workers' comp fraud, including employee fraud, employer fraud and medical provider fraud, and how it affects business will also be reviewed.
