New Wireless ePay for Windows Mobile Released

The release of the latest addition to Wireless ePay, Wireless ePay for Windows Mobile, was announced by USA ePay, a GorCorp company. This new version is designed for Pocket PCs, Smart Phones and other mobile devices with the Windows Mobile operating system. This is the third type of Wireless ePay software that USA ePay has released. The other types are the Blackberry version and J2ME, for phones like Motorola and Nokia.

"Wireless ePay for Windows Mobile is the latest and one of the greatest leaps for Wireless ePay. Along with the already popular Blackberry and Java versions of the software, the Windows Mobile edition allows us to support a new, larger percentage of mobile devices," said CEO Ben Goretsky. The company has already successfully setup accounts with Wireless ePay on devices like the Cingular Blackjack, Cingular's 8125, 8525, 3125, T-Mobile's SDA, MDA, Dash and Verizons's Motorola Q.

The software interacts via Bluetooth to USA ePay's W-ePay SC30 device. The W-ePay SC30, an all-in-one swiper and printer for credit card processing, allows USA ePay wireless merchants to switch between different mobile devices and still keep the W-ePay SC30 for processing; eliminating costs for new equipment.

"A merchant can use a Blackberry phone one month and switch to a Java phone the next month and then switch again to a Windows Mobile phone and use the same W-ePay devices for the credit card processing," says Gene Bochkovsky, director of marketing. "We have removed the need for new equipment every time a wireless merchant changes their phone or provider, our device is flexible in all those aspects."

The Wireless ePay software functions as a credit card machine loaded on cell phones or other mobile devices and carries the same basic features of a credit card machine (credit, void, sale, authonly, postauth.), as well as features a typical machine would not have, like detailed reporting. Because the software is also non-carrier dependent, it is possible to work on any network that provides data or an internet package. All versions, including the Wireless ePay for Windows Mobile, are available now at USA ePay.
