Hotel Rouge – A Kimpton Hotel, is offering a $99 per night special which is 65 percent off their weekday rates. This boutique Washington, D.C., hotel is located on Embassy Row near Dupont Circle. In an interesting twist on the Kimpton tradition of complimentary daily wine receptions, the Hotel Rouge hosts a “First Call” red wine and red beer hour for guests on weekdays and a “Last Call” of Bloody Mary’s and cold pizza on the weekends. For those who can’t spend even a holiday weekend unwired, all Kimpton Hotels offer free wireless Internet access. They are also pet friendly, however, the $99 nightly rate may not be available for travelers accompanied by pets, so please check with the hotel directly. PGA National Golf Resort & Spa is offering golf lovers a special $99 per night rate that includes free, unlimited golf for two. This is a significant savings over the $349 rate common during the winter months at this AAA 4-Diamond resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (just north of West Palm Beach and a short distance from PGA headquarters). PGA National offers four golf courses for travelers to choose from and true afficiados (or masochists) can choose to play the Championship course for a $50 surcharge.
