John Reed Stark, Chief of the Office of Internet Enforcement at the SEC, will discuss online fraud with Professor Theresa A. Gabaldon, Professor of Law and Carville Dickinson Benson Research Professor of Law at the George Washington University Law School. Stark was appointed to direct the Internet Office, which is part of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, in 1995. The Division of Enforcement investigates and prosecutes securities violations, specializing in those that involve technology. The SEC Historical Society is a non-profit organization, independent of, and separate from, the U.S. SEC.
