Donnia Stabler - Technology Manager
Donnia is in charge of the technical side of AccountingWEB. Many of you have probably received e-mails from her answering your questions or helping you with problems. She is responsible for keeping the site up-to-date and running smoothly for our members, production of AccountingWEB's E-Newsletters and more. She describes her position with AccountingWEB as her "dream job."

"I love being part of a wonderful team. AccountingWEB keeps me challenged daily and forces me to stretch my imagination and creativity to keep our site interesting, timely and fun. I enjoy the interaction I have with our members and I feel a great sense of pride when I am able to help them"

Diane Williams - Sales Manager
Making the leap into interactive sales with AccountingWEB in 2006 was a natural step for Diane who has a background in both print and radio. As advertising and marketing initiatives continue to expand to include site-based and subscriber-based marketing programs, Diane sees great opportunity for everything from branding and awareness to sales lead generation. "It's refreshing to provide successful campaigns with measurable results," says Diane.

Robin Burnham - Staff Writer
Robin grew up with the dream to become a modern-day Nellie Bly, donning disguises to uncover fraud and scandal. Her real-life career may have involved journalism, but that's where the similarities end. For more than 10 years, Robin covered local government as a newspaper reporter in New England and Washington state, where she ended her newspaper career as an editor. After becoming a mom, she began freelancing and now works from her basement, deep undercover in her sweats, keeping AccountingWEB readers informed of the latest developments in this constantly-changing industry.

Teresa Ambord - Staff Writer
I'm one of those people who started down one career path, only to make a major change later in life. With a degree in accounting and years of practice, I discovered that what I like best is to research and write about business and other financial topics. So except for a few clients who still seem to believe they can't live without me, I pretty much traded my ten-key for Microsoft Word. Thanks to AccountingWEB, I can use my background in accounting and my research skills to put information together that I hope is interesting and helpful. My posse of small dogs/advisors thinks I made the right decision, especially when I multi-task, typing with one hand and scratching canine ears with the other.

When not writing for AccountingWEB, David heads up Accounting Advisors, Inc., an Atlanta-based software and database consulting firm.

Gail Perry - Managing Editor
Gail is a CPA, an alumnus of Deloitte's Chicago tax department, and a graduate of Indiana University where she began her education as a music major and finished with a degree in journalism and English. She spent several years writing a tax humor column for the Indianapolis Star newspaper. In addition to her job as the managing editor of AccountingWEB, Gail writes a couple of books each year, teaches an online personal finance course, and manages a small tax practice. She remembers going to sleep once several years ago. Naturally right-handed, she perfected her left-handed keyboard skills after spending a tax season with her broken right arm in a sling. Now there are two keyboards on her desk. "It's like playing the piano," she laughs, as she runs the numbers on her 10-key with her toes. Gail loves to cook, is addicted to detective fiction, and cherishes her time with family and friends.

Tony Pavich - Assistant Webmaster
Indiana is the place to be! After working in San Diego for several years, a hearty field of soybeans has never been more comforting. Tony has been programming computers since the Apple II days of the 1980s, and has never lost his passion for it. A Purdue University computer science major, he's worked in several computer-related fields over the years until finally joining our team in 2005.

Adrian BurchamAdrian Burcham - Advertising Sales Representative
I've always been the kind of person who appreciates new technology and ideas. That's why I made the switch from radio sales to interactive advertising sales with AccountingWEB. Being part of an organization that is exclusively online gives me the new tools and methods to make my clients' advertising work for them. What remains constant for me is the satisfaction of being entrusted with businesses' marketing plans and delivering results. Every day in sales and advertising we meet new challenges. I challenge myself to provide excellent customer service and a top-of-the-line product. Tell me the challenges you face, we'll work on them together.

Kathy Costa - Advertising Sales Representative
When Kathy began her sales career (way back in the 20th century), advertising was considered an "intangible" sale. But the Web puts advertisers directly in touch with their customers. What could be more tangible than that? No child grows up saying "I want to be a salesperson," and how many times do salespeople hear "oh, I could never do that!" when they confess their profession. Good salespeople are not glib, glad-handing egoists. Good salespeople are not thinking about themselves at all. They are thinking about their customers. "Any success I have in selling" Kathy says, "will be directly tied to how much success my customers have in reaching their customers. And the Web is tangible. You can count those clicks!"

Anne Rosivach - Staff Writer
Anne has returned to freelance writing after spending 20 years in administration in one of the big four firms, where she worked as a recruiter and tax administrator. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she has lived in New York City and currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut. Writing for AccountingWEB is exciting and fun, Anne says, because accounting has been and will likely continue to be at the center of major developments in business news. And since AccountingWEB covers the profession and the tremendously varied and diverse business of accounting, as well as the interests of students and others, staff writers are challenged to pull together articles that will be of interest to this audience.
