The international consortium of consulting professors, Round Table Group, Inc., will launch an E-Commerce Bootcamp executive seminar series for 2000 that will include eleven one- and two-day long symposia. Each session will feature a team of the industry’s most prominent academic thought-leaders.
After the group’s first symposia in October, the results spoke for themselves. It’s clear that companies are hungry for this information – the first symposia sold out in less than a month. The subjects range from economics to marketing and strategy.
A unique tool that Round Table brings is an on-line, web-based learning community where events are re-broadcast using web-based video. Participants can then log into the Bootcamp community via the web and use keywords to locate points in the lectures or discussions that are desired. The video archives also are cross-linked to related PowerPoint slides.
Executives and senior managers at established firms who have an immediate need to develop and implement their firm’s e-business strategy will benefit most from the interactive symposia format. Sessions will be comprised of lectures, panels and informal discussions.
