Universal Accounting Services expands to serve accounting, bookkeeping, tax prep needs

Universal Accounting graduate Steve Eckman, a 28-year small-business accounting consultant, recently announced the expansion of his accounting practice, renamed to Universal Accounting Services from Practice Made Perfect.

Eckman said he is taking this new financial consulting practice to the next level by leveraging Universal Accounting's Client Generator Program, an intensive, proven program aimed at helping students acquire and retain new clients, with a detailed marketing plan designed to meet student income and business goals. Universal Accounting is a Salt Lake City-based training center for accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation with its Profit Expert Programs.

"Many small businesses save their receipts in a shoe box, bring them to an accountant at the end of the year, and then wonder why they owe so much in taxes," said Eckman. "My goal is to help businesses improve their financial situation continually, on a monthly basis. Universal Accounting has been integral to my success, and Universal's Client Generator Program has been a key factor in my growth to date."

Eckman's existing clients will seamlessly join Universal Accounting Services, he said, benefiting from the new company's various services including bookkeeping, tax preparation, data entry, and financial accounting. Universal Accounting Services has a goal to earn clients more than three times its fee in savings and improved financial performance. Eckman has worked with more than 900 clients in nine western states.

"Most accountants are like historians - they tell you what you spent and what you owe for the past year or month," said Eckman. "Instead, I take a proactive approach, helping clients understand their financials and return on investments over time. Universal Accounting has helped me to provide client services that make me more than just a tax preparer for my clients - but a trusted financial advisor."

About Universal Accounting:Universal Accounting offers seminars, interactive tutorial software, training guides, and booklets, as well as personal coaching and even pre-packaged marketing programs to help its students be successful. Universal Accounting students are provided proven and achievable business models that allow them to make money, diversify their income, and obtain financial security by starting their own business, or making their company more profitable.

Voice of the Editor

Even though any accounting auditor would tell you it seems like there are an awful lot of tax accountants out there, surely one-third of the country isn't made up of tax preparers, so it's rather startling news to learn that one-third of Americans like to do their taxes. Who knew?
