RyanSharkey CPA and consulting firm adds new partner

Reston, VA-based CPA and consulting firm RyanSharkey recently has announced the addition of Michael Eagan, CPA to its partner group.

Eagan brings a tax background of more than 18 years to the RyanSharkey team, where he will serve as a partner in the firm's tax department. He has extensive experience in all areas of tax, including corporate income tax, state and local tax, FAS 109, international tax, and mergers and acquisitions. Eagan also has advised a wide array of clients, both public and private, including those in the manufacturing, technology, retail, telecommunications, and government contracting industries.

Prior to joining RyanSharkey, Eagan served as a partner at regional CPA firm in Vienna, Virginia, and also worked for a "Big Four" international accounting firm. Additionally, Eagan has served in senior management roles for publicly-traded pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies.

Eagan is a graduate of George Mason University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (GWSCPA). Eagan also is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Fairfax.
