Louis T. Roth accountant obtains CPA license

Louis T. Roth & Co. is pleased to announce that J. Wesley Mabe has obtained his Kentucky license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

"We are proud of Wes for his accomplishment, which is a big step for any professional in the accounting industry," said Barry Christensen, CPA, PFS, Managing Partner and CEO of Louis T. Roth & Co.  "Wes is an integral part of our team and I am confident he will effectively use his CPA license to grow as a professional."

Mabe joined Louis T. Roth & Co. in 2008.  As a staff accountant, he is responsible for preparing business and individual tax returns, preparing financial statements and performing tax research. In addition, Mabe researches and responds to tax notices received by clients and assists in the application process for tax ID's for new businesses.

Mabe received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2008 and his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005 from Western Kentucky University.  Currently, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KyCPA) and the Western Kentucky University Alumni Association.  Mabe currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
