Day 4: Body Lift

Don't we all want firm, strong arms? Firm arms will enhance your appearance, and strong arms will certainly come in handy when picking up those huge stacks of client files! Use this easy exercise to work on your biceps, your triceps, or both.

The Biceps muscles are at the front of your upper arms. You use these when you bend your arm or pick things up. They're also the ones you flex when showing someone how big your arm muscles are. Toning these will give shape and definition to your upper arm.

Biceps exercise:

Step 1: Place the palms of your hands on the arms of your desk chair with your fingers facing forward and your elbows facing back.

Step 2: Lift yourself up until your arms are straight, keeping your feet flat on the floor.

Step 3: Repeat as many times as you can.

The Triceps are situated at the back of your upper arms. They come into play when you straighten your arm or push something. Toning your triceps will help get rid of (or prevent) flab that hangs down from your arm when you hold it out.

Triceps exercise:

Step 1: Grab the arms of your desk chair with your elbows facing back.

Step 2: Lift yourself up until your arms are straight, keeping your feet flat on the floor.

Step 3: Repeat as many times as you can.

Voice of the Editor

Even though any accounting auditor would tell you it seems like there are an awful lot of tax accountants out there, surely one-third of the country isn't made up of tax preparers, so it's rather startling news to learn that one-third of Americans like to do their taxes. Who knew?
