ACPA appoints George Thomas as new ACPA chairman
The Association of Certified Project Accountants (ACPA) recently announced that George Thomas, FCA, FCPA, FCCEA, CPM, has been appointed as the new executive chairman and CEO of ACPA and ACCEA.
Thomas became a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) in 1981. He qualified as an Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) during his career with in the British Ministry of Defense.
His appointment, as the new ACPA and ACCEA executive chairman and CEO, is the result of a unanimous decision by the Board of Governance, which marks the conclusion of a long search to find the right person to continue the successful journey started by the outgoing Chairman Robert Collings.
